An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Examinations Officer and Administrator to join Kings Norton Girls' School and Sixth Form (KNGS). The post is full-time, working term time only plus 2 weeks during the school holidays (GCSE and A Level Results). We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a keen eye for detail and accuracy, to take the lead in managing examinations and providing administrative support for the exam access applications. You should have a passion for working with young people to ensure they can fulfill their potential. As the sole examinations officer, you must be able to work independently and be proactive in ensuring all aspects of the process are effectively covered. You will have the full support of the Assistant Headteacher responsible in fulfilling your role. In the exam access role, you will work under the direction of the SENCO.
Key Responsibilities:
* Examinations Officer:
1. Liaising with awarding organisations and keeping updated on JCQ changes to ensure an updated knowledge of examination regulations.
2. Liaising with and advising subject leaders and SENCO to ensure entries, exam access arrangement applications, and NEA marks are timely, accurate, and appropriate to need.
3. Leading on the organisation of examination sessions, both internal and external.
4. Managing a team of invigilators.
1. Exam Access Administrator:
1. Supporting the SENCO in gathering evidence and arranging exams access.
2. Maintaining records around exam access.

Salary range: Grade 3, SCP 18 to 22. Full-time equivalent salary: £29,269 - £31,364 (actual salary will be pro-rata based on term time only working plus 2 weeks).
