Job Purpose and Overview
The Operations Finance Controller is part of the management team of the plant(s) of which is responsible. Ensure the link between accounting/controlling of the company and the strategic development of the site in relation to the overall group strategy. Acting as a business partner for plant manager, supply chain manager and any other operations colleagues, supporting local teams with finance expertise during forecast and budget process, during monthly closing and on CAPEX request. Manage the day-to-day processes of the operations controlling, ensuring that relevant controls are in place and adhered to.
What will you do as a [Job Title] at Dawn Foods?
1. Support the Operations and Supply Chain functions in achieving the objectives and plans established.
2. Draw up the Budget according to the structure lay down by the Business Group.
3. Proactively collaborate with Procurement to raise raw material issues.
4. Provide the plant management with analysis of costs evolution, with corrective actions and preventive action plans in order to keep the financials under control.
5. Support Operations and Supply Chain colleagues in Capex requests and investments follow-up in accordance with group standards.
6. Keep a close control on conversion costs, variances (Purchase Price Variance – PPV, Yield, Scrap, Inventory revaluation, Inventory difference, Other variance), Supply Chain costs and G&A costs impacting Operations P&L, and propose cost optimization actions.
7. Make the monthly reporting according to the Business Group’s format.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
9. Demonstrates the “Dawn Values” of Team Dawn and supports the Circle of Excellence.
What Does It Take to be an Operations Controller at Dawn Foods?
You should have previous experience in the international FMCG industry, and 5+ years’ experience in a multi-national environment.
Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:
10. Strong background with financial ERP (especially SAP)
11. Advanced computer skills on MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
12. Experience using SAP is an advantage.
13. Excellent communications skills, oral and written.
