About the Role
As the Bid Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end bid process, working closely with operational and business development teams to deliver compelling, high-quality proposals. This is a home-based role, offering flexibility with occasional travel to our branches across the North East.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the entire bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification to final submission.
* Develop and write persuasive, tailored proposals that align with the organization’s values and objectives.
* Collaborate with internal teams to gather information, ensuring proposals meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
* Research and analyse market trends to identify and target new opportunities.
* Coordinate bid reviews, ensuring all submissions are accurate, compliant, and submitted on time.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including commissioners and local authorities.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in bid management, ideally within the health or social care sector.
* Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
* Knowledge of domiciliary care services and a strong understanding of tendering processes within the sector.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bid management tools.
* Self-motivated and adaptable, with a commitment to delivering results.
