About the Role
As the Bid Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end bid process, working closely with operational and business development teams to deliver compelling, high-quality proposals. This is a home-based role, offering flexibility with occasional travel to our branches across the North East.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the entire bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification to final submission.
2. Develop and write persuasive, tailored proposals that align with the organization's values and objectives.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to gather information, ensuring proposals meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
4. Research and analyse market trends to identify and target new opportunities.
5. Coordinate bid reviews, ensuring all submissions are accurate, compliant, and submitted on time.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including commissioners and local authorities.
What We're Looking For
1. Proven experience in bid management, ideally within the health or social care sector.
2. Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
3. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
4. Knowledge of domiciliary care services and a strong understanding of tendering processes within the sector.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bid management tools.
6. Self-motivated and adaptable, with a commitment to delivering results.
