Red Deer Village is a small but busy, family-owned business located in Stepps, Glasgow. Our key focus is providing exclusive homes for the 50+ community in our residential park. Our holiday park has a Scottish Tourism 5 Star rating. It offers self-catering accommodation for rental as well as touring and tent pitches.
Where do you come in?
We are looking for a receptionist to support with the day-to-day running of the park. Working hours will range from 22.5 - 37.5 hours per week. Flexible weekend working is required. Initially, this position will be part-time, extending to full-time once training is complete (approximately 3 months). Rate of pay will be subject to experience.
Main Responsibilities
1. Deal with enquiries via telephone and email.
2. Calculate and process invoices.
3. Process debit/credit card payments.
4. Operate an online booking system.
5. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales spreadsheets.
6. Check in guests, answer any on-site customer queries, assist residents and visitors to the park.
7. Weekly and monthly checks in compliance with park and H&S procedures.
8. Ensuring park and facilities remain at a high standard and are kept clean and tidy. There may be a requirement to assist the housekeeping team with toilet/shower blocks and rental units on occasion.
9. Liaise with suppliers and staff regarding purchases, repairs, rotas, etc.
10. Prepare social media posts.
11. Various other duties that may arise as part of daily operations.
Key Skill Requirements
1. Excellent organisational and administrative experience.
2. Ability to be flexible, adaptable, reliable, and innovative.
3. Time management skills.
4. Keen attention to detail.
5. Must be dependable, trustworthy, and have the ability to multitask and learn new skills.
6. Customer service skills.
7. Experience in using Apple computers preferable, as well as a mixture of Apple and Microsoft software including Numbers, Pages, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
8. References required.
9. Driving license preferable.
10. Basic criminal disclosure check required before confirmation of employment.
11. Previous experience preferable.
