Job Description
The main responsibilities of the Payroll Assistant are:
1. Processing payroll for over 400 staff, covering both 4 weekly and monthly payrolls.
2. P11D calculations
3. Reconciliation of payroll
4. Pension submissions
5. Posting of payroll into management accounts
6. Collating data for payroll
7. Internal auditing on payroll data including staff hours, overtime and expenses.
8. Administration of employee benefit packages
9. Support with HR Administration
The Successful Applicant
The successful Payroll Assistant will possess:
1. Previous experience within a Payroll position is essential.
2. Experience using Sage 50 would be beneficial.
3. Accuracy and attention to detail is critical.
4. Strong analytic skills.
5. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
6. Strong IT skills including Microsoft.
7. Proactive approach to work.
