Job Description
Candidates are sought to fill a compliance expert position, providing regulatory assurance within the context of technical consultancy. This role offers flexibility in terms of remote or hybrid work arrangements, with occasional travel required to the company's site.
* Assess products against relevant legislation and standards, ensuring compliance.
* Conduct research on materials and their applications across various industries, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
* Develop comprehensive compliance documentation, including technical files, test data, and risk assessments.
* Offer sound regulatory advice to diverse clients, encompassing manufacturers, trade associations, and regulators.
* Effectively manage projects to meet cost and time constraints.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending industry events and promoting our services.

Our client is a global leader in technical consultancy and engineering, boasting a diverse team spread across multiple countries worldwide. They seek to expand their Energy Engineering Solutions Division by recruiting an experienced regulatory compliance specialist.
Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as chemistry, materials science, engineering, or environmental science.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
* Proven experience in fields like chemistry, materials science, engineering, and environmental science.
* Knowledge of regulations such as REACH, RoHS, WEEE, or Ecodesign would be advantageous.
* Familiarity with manufacturing techniques and materials used in electrical and electronic products would be beneficial.
* Previous technical consultancy experience would be viewed favorably.
* Progress towards Chartered Status or security clearance would be desirable.
