As a PR intern, you’ll become a key part of our team, learning the ins and outs of PR and communications, and gaining hands-on experience in everything from writing press releases to managing social media campaigns. If you’re looking to develop your skills, expand your network, and get real-world PR experience, Altitude is the place for you The Role As a PR intern at Altitude, based in our Sheffield office, you’ll play a supportive role in our fast-paced, creative team. No two days will be the same, and you’ll have the chance to get involved in a wide variety of tasks, including: Campaign research and planning – Assisting with research for PR campaigns and staying updated on industry trends. Content creation – Writing blog posts, social media content, press releases, and more. Social media management – Creating and designing social media posts using Canva, developing engaging content for platforms like LinkedIn, and Instagram, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and reporting on performance. Media research – Assisting in researching media contacts and outlets to support outreach efforts. Media monitoring and reporting – Tracking media coverage for our clients, using industry software to monitor performance and producing reports for internal and client use. Client support – Preparing reports, attending client meetings, and supporting the preparation of client proposals and presentations. General PR support – Assisting with day-to-day tasks that help the team, such as managing project timelines, taking meeting notes, and providing creative input on campaigns. This is a great opportunity to get real, hands-on experience while building a strong foundation for a career in PR. What We’re Looking For: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A passion for PR and creativity. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram) and tools like Canva for designing engaging content. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
