ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The dressing room is where magic happens, when a client puts on an outfit that makes them feel confident and ready to take on their interview. Smart Works Dressing Volunteers work directly with clients to help them find the perfect outfit for their interview and give them the confidence they need. They support numerous clients from different backgrounds throughout their volunteer day, working with one or two other volunteers to tailor appointments to each individual client. Volunteers can attend a wide range of exclusive events including VIP preview evenings for pop-up fashion sales, volunteer socials and access to our monthly volunteer forums and training. You will become part of the supportive and buzzing Smart Works community, consisting of over 780 volunteers across the UK. This opportunity would be perfect for anyone who has a great eye for style and wants to make a difference through using fashion as a force for good.
Seeing how a woman can grow in confidence just from the clothes she wears is very powerful. We treat every woman as an individual and try to find a style that suits them, there is no one style fits all and that is one of the many challenges and joys of volunteer dressing.
