The Opportunity
Join Aggregate Industries as Accounts Payable Specialist at our Bardon Hill site, where you'll manage supplier payments and optimise financial processes within a dynamic, multinational environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in accounts payable, eager to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage supplier payments across multiple currencies using various banking platforms, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
Produce daily, weekly, and monthly cash forecasts, reporting actual payments and managing cash optimisation processes during key financial periods.
Utilise AI-driven software to review and prevent duplicate or potentially fraudulent transactions, providing monthly reporting on findings.
Reconcile key supplier statements, manage internal controls, and assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation and walkthroughs.
Support system migrations, process improvements, and act as a point of contact for payment processes during acquisitions and mergers.
Who You Are
You’re a proactive and organised Accounts Payable Specialist with a strong background in accounts payable and financial systems. Your ability to manage complex financial processes and contribute to continuous improvement makes you a valuable asset to any team. Here’s what makes you a great fit:
Experience in the end-to-end procure-to-pay process, with proficiency in using multiple banking platforms.
Highly organised with excellent initiative, able to manage tasks independently and collaboratively within a team.
Familiarity with Google Suite applications and online banking tools, with a working understanding of the CIS scheme.
Experience in process optimisation, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Experience in managing projects related to mergers, acquisitions, and IT system changes is desirable.
