What you’ll be doing Keep the Nursery a clean and safe environment for the children, staff and families Encourage and model behaviour which is appropriate in a child environment being professional at all times adhering to our Heart Principles To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas throughout the day To carry out daily laundry duties as required To respond appropriately to issues requiring confidentiality: for example being aware of personal information regarding children Support, promote and implement policies and procedures Work in co-operation and partnership with the Nursery team, providing high standards of cleaning to ensure the smooth running of the nursery day Be prepared to help where needed, including undertaking of certain domestic tasks within the nursery e.g. supporting over meal times and cleaning of equipment Ensuring products and materials are appropriate for a nursery environment and stored and used in line with COSHH guidelines. To take reasonable care of yourself and others and to comply with company Health and Safety guidelines whilst understanding the importance of keeping everyone safe and the part you play.
