Your Tasks
1. Support the Transport Planning team in the coordination and scheduling of deliveries across the UK and Europe.
2. Assist in route optimisation to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
3. Collaborate with key stakeholders including suppliers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
4. Analyse transport data and generate reports to support planning and decision-making.
5. Contribute to continuous improvement and sustainability projects within the department.
6. Gain hands-on experience with transport management systems and software (e.g. SAP, Warehouse Management Systems).
7. Prepare clear, concise reports and analysis as required.
8. Attend relevant training courses and internal meetings.
9. Demonstrate a commercial awareness of EGGER’s products, customers, markets, and production processes.
Your Profile
10. You have completed a minimum of 2 years of a degree or diploma in Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
11. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
12. High level of IT literacy, particularly in MS Excel and data analysis.
13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
14. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
15. Confident, proactive, and enthusiastic about learning.
16. Genuine interest in logistics, supply chain, and transport planning.
