A fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic IT Support Technician to join our expanding IT Services team in Derby.
The role
As an IT Support Technician, you will be a confident, well-organised individual with an eye for detail and a key focus on providing exceptional IT service support and systems delivery across our client base.
Responsibilities
1. Provide 2nd and 3rd line remote and on-site support
2. Install, provision and configure IT systems
3. Deliver technical projects in a timely manner, meeting agreed timescales
4. Provide in-depth user support
5. Set up and maintain the appropriate client site documentation for each designated client
6. Provide outstanding customer service to a vast client base
Experience
1. Previous experience as an engineer for a Managed Service Provider is advantageous
2. Experience of installing and supporting server hardware
3. Knowledge and experience of phone systems such as Gamma Horizon, 3CX, and Microsoft Teams
4. Experience with the following technologies:
o Virtualisation Technologies
o Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems
o Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems
o Microsoft 365
o Microsoft Azure
o Amazon AWS
o Antivirus
o Backup Solutions
o Router and firewall troubleshooting
