Position Overview
Ithaca Energy is accepting applications for the position of Production Supervisor, located offshore on our Cygnus Asset.
Reporting to the OIM, the Production Supervisor will manage and co-ordinate the safe and efficient production of hydrocarbons from the Cygnus installation; this includes monitoring the wells, processing plant, export systems, and associated utilities systems.
In addition, the Production Supervisor will act as OIM on the Cygnus Bravo Platform (as required) and will be a key member of the Cygnus Leadership Team.
Responsibilities
1. Supervise coordination of offshore production and operations activities in accordance with legislation requirements and Company procedures to achieve production targets without compromising safety.
2. Promote and lead the implementation of a strong safety culture and create an environment offshore which continuously improves safety performance.
3. Liaise and coordinate activities with the well services team (workovers and well interventions).
4. Actively engage in building relationships with the ISC to promote a one-team culture and maximize the benefit of their corporate strengths.
5. Ensure that the Permit to Work system is operated effectively and audited; also ensure plant and associated equipment is optimized and used to maximum efficiency.
6. Supervise implementation of process and plant isolations in accordance with industry standards and Neptune procedures.
7. Supervise implementation of process and plant reinstatement in accordance with industry standards and Neptune procedures.
8. Supervise effective management of shutdowns (planned or uncontrolled) to maintain safety and minimize lost production.
9. Provide training and personal development opportunities to maintain competence and provide progression opportunities for staff.
10. Supervise operations to include maintenance, metering, and compliance in accordance with industry standards and Neptune procedures.
11. Supervise all aspects of Operations such that adequate control is maintained over all ongoing work and maintain systems such that the control can be demonstrated as and when necessary.
12. Build strong relationships within the Platform Leadership Team to promote and support the Team of Teams concept.
Qualifications & Experience
1. A safety champion who walks the talk.

3. Excellent communicator comfortable with written, spoken, or electronic media.
4. A self-motivated individual who physically demonstrates high energy levels and commitment and who leads the team by example.
5. Act as a Neptune role model for all other Cygnus Offshore Operations Staff.
6. Appropriate Vocational Qualification or Certification.
7. Extensive experience within the oil & gas and/or petrochemical industry.
8. Previous experience supervising a multi-skilled team within the oil & gas and/or petrochemical industry.
9. Proven leadership, team management, and supervisory skills.
10. Control of Work experience gained within Oil & Gas and/or Petrochemical Industry preferred at Area Authority level.
11. Offshore Emergency Response Team experience gained within the Oil & Gas industry.
12. Performance champion who demonstrates high energy levels and commitment, and who leads the team by example.
13. Proactive team player, who accurately assesses strengths & limitations of others, uses others' abilities & fully backs their decisions.
