Potter Raper, a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy, is expanding its Quantity Surveying team to support exciting, large-scale projects. We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Beckenham office. You’ll work on projects ranging from £500,000 refurbishments to £250 million new builds, with the autonomy to manage your workload while collaborating with a diverse and inclusive team. Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and managing cost estimates, budgets, and contracts for projects across residential, educational, and commercial sectors.
Conducting cost analysis, procurement, and value engineering.
Managing tender processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Monitoring project costs and variations, preparing regular reports, and advising clients on financial risks.
Supporting junior team members and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Conducting site visits, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring project deadlines and budgets are met.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, within projects of varying value.
A relevant qualification such a degree in Quantity Surveying is desirable, although not essential.
Strong cost management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
A degree in Quantity Surveying (desirable but not essential with equivalent experience).
Ability to commute to the Beckenham office (SE London/Kent).
Flexibility to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively.
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 per annum, plus annual profit related bonus.
Location: Beckenham office (hybrid working model).
Hours: Full-time, flexible working hours.
