We're Hiring: Branch Manager (Forfar) – Scotland | National Timber Group Scotland
Are you an experienced Branch Manager looking to develop your career further? Are you ready to take the next step? National Timber Group Scotland are always looking for great people to strengthen our team and due to business growth, we are looking to appoint a Branch Manager for our Orchard Timber Products site in Forfar. We want to hear from you if you are commercially minded, have a passion for the customer and want to develop your career in a progressive and fast-paced environment.
What will you be doing?
* Developing strong relationships with customers and suppliers in order to build profitable business growth. Build regular, productive and focused contact with your team to drive our value-add proposition for customers
* Manage the full operation of the Branch with a focus on Health & Safety whilst delivering for the customer
* Be in control of sales, margin and overheads to exceed your agreed targets and deliver best in class financial performance
* Set the tone and champion a Safe culture across the Branch at all times promoting a healthy workplace and colleague wellbeing
* You will lead, motivate, engage, delegate to empower your team to work together and deliver great service for our customers
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven sales and operational leadership with experience in a B2B environment
- Strong commercial and strategic acumen with a results-driven mindset
- Passion for customer service excellence and relationship building
- Fantastic people skills
- Experience in the timber, construction, or building materials sector (preferred)
