Who They Are Looking For
The school seeks an enthusiastic PE specialist who:
* Holds QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
* Has experience teaching PE at KS3 & KS4, with strong curriculum knowledge.
* Can plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge all learners.
* Has strong classroom management skills and high expectations of behaviour and student outcomes.
* Can monitor student progress and provide exceptional feedback to ensure achievement.
* Is committed to supporting diverse student groups, including those with SEND, pupil premium students, and high-attaining learners.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver outstanding lessons that cater to all students.
* Monitor and track student progress, using data-driven approaches to maximise achievement.
* Support the personal development of students through PE and PSHE lessons.
* Contribute to extra-curricular activities, ensuring students have access to a variety of sporting opportunities.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance and develop the PE curriculum.
