About the role We are looking to recruit a talented R&D Tax Executive to join our expanding Corporate Tax team. This role will give you the opportunity to work with and advise a range of clients in relation to the delivery of our R&D Tax Relief proposition. This position can offer a clear progression path and will enable you to develop your knowledge and experience further through the completion of interesting assignments as part of a full service accounting, tax and advisory firm. You will need to be passionate about delivering an excellent service to clients and will enjoy working as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Working with clients to identify opportunities for R&D tax relief/credits based on innovative technology activities. Collaborating with tax specialists to compile activity details and qualifying expenditure for robust R&D claim reports for HMRC submissions. Serving as a positive role model and point of contact for R&D Tax Advisory services, supporting and upskilling colleagues to identify R&D tax opportunities for their clients. Leading the training and development of junior tax team members to enhance their ability to deliver R&D Tax services. Contributing to the wider service offering, with opportunities to broaden tax expertise by engaging in other tax advisory and compliance services. Full study support (CTA, ACA, or ACCA) is available with this position, if required. There is scope to shape this role to the experience and motivations of the appointed candidate. About You To be considered for the role, you will have: A proven track record of delivering a wide range of R&D Tax Relief claims of varying complexity, with experience gained working in a full service accountancy firm or larger regulated specialist R&D practice. Excellent written and verbal communication skills that enable you to build rapport with people at various levels. Strong proficiency to project manage and organise numerous assignments to keep your work on track. Ideally, ATT or ACA/ACCA (or equivalent); or be CTA qualified or part qualified, and looking to study towards completion of the CTA qualification.
