We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an Assistant Building Services Manager to support our high-performing preconstruction teams across the Midlands. The successful Assistant Building Services Manager will support the preconstruction phase through the tender and design development period and ensure the production of high-quality information and accurate costs. Reporting to the Building Services Manager, you will work alongside our preconstruction team and carry out technical reviews of tender documents, liaise with the estimating team and adjust designs accordingly, support supply chain coordination and oversee service handovers between preconstruction and delivery teams to ensure compliance and quality. This role involves working across multiple projects and being the go-to MEP expert.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Support qualitative, technical, and commercial appraisal of services tenders.
* Identify approved services solutions for tenders.
* Assist in developing engineered value design options with consultants.
* Ensure technical compliance of services design across projects.
* Perform design gap analysis (Building Services).
* Coordinate supply chain activities and attend tender meetings.
* Support service handovers and reinforce customer-first ethic.
* Build and maintain relationships with design and supply chain partners.
About You
Essential Criteria:
* Appropriate CSCS card.
* Valid driving license.
* Managerial experience in the services sector.
* Understanding of M&E legislation.
* Commercial acumen in design proposals and quotes.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
* Experience in diverse M&E projects.
Desirable Criteria:
* Level 4 qualification (HNC/NVQ4).
* Design/Estimating experience.
* Working towards MCIOB / CIBSE.
