We are looking for aMaintenance Resource Planner, at our Rotherham site,to defineand managemaintenance schedules and resources, ensuring they are delivered tothe required timescales and SHE standards, whilst optimisingplant, asset andequipment availability.

About the role
TheMaintenance Resource Planner will be responsible for defining, agreeing, managing and monitoring achievement ofpreventative, corrective and improvement maintenance schedules. You will also generate and approve risk assessments, ensuring compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental factors to maintain the required level of safety performance.
You will prepare and issue Permits to Work to ensure engineering activities can be carried out safely. You will also monitor stock levels, and source and gather materials, spares and resources as required via vendors to ensure timely availability.
Coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing third party suppliers,as well asensuring activities are effectively allocated across resources, will also be an important part of this role. As will continuously looking for opportunities to make improvementsto maintenance planning by making recommendations and implementing initiatives.
Your Experience
If you are from a technical background and consider yourself a self-starter, we are interested in hearing from you.
Our ideal candidate would be highly organised, with the ability to deal with and prioritise competing demands. You should also have the ability to communicate effectivelyboth verbally and in writing, with sound analytical and numeracy skills.
You should have experience of working on a hazardous chemical regulated site, in engineering planning and Permit to Work, and with CMMS systems. You should hold a HNC, or equivalent experience, in an engineering discipline.
