Ormiston Sandwell Community Academy is located in the Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell, and in very close proximity to the centre of Birmingham. It is a slightly larger than average, 11-16 co-educational academy with approximately 1,200 students. The academy’s reputation locally is excellent, having been graded as a good academy for the third time in 2023.
This permanent post will work 32.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, term-time plus 1 week of training days. We welcome applications from dedicated, professional people who meet the person specification.
We are looking for a candidate who is confident and able to work with and supervise young people in a classroom environment, ensuring that quality learning takes place during staff absence by delivering the pre-planned curriculum and cover work supplied.
