The purpose of the role: The Payroll Recoveries Assistant will be responsible for recovering contractor overpayments. The role will see you handling relevant queries via telephone and tickets to provide additional information and agree a repayment plan. You will need to reconcile all payments received, monitor all adjustment forms raised providing reports to each department with the view to prevent errors going forward. You will also provide additional support with internal queries from our Accounts and Credit Control team. Key responsibilities include: Process overpayment letters Re-calculate overpayments, LTD, UMB, PAYE Recover overpayments using various method’s Update payments received using various systems Answers support messages via telephone Answers support messages via ticketing system. Answer support messages via ticketing system from our Accounts and Credit Control teams What are we looking for: Customer service support experience. Payroll experience or debt recovery experience is essential. Good communication skills. Excellent listening skills. Ability to work as a team. Ability to work in fast-paced environment. Ability to work under pressure. Excellent attention to detail.
