Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as Night Support Worker, Band 3 on our community rehabilitation unit based in Erdington. The successful candidate will be based at Rookery Gardens, a recovery focused environment, working with both inpatient staff and community based services to assist the re-integration of service users into the community. The service users we care for have complex needs, both Mental Health at at times Physical health, therefore staff will be required to demonstrate a range of skills including effective communication, empathy, self-awareness, and critical self-reflection skills. Main duties of the job Working with the team at Rookery Gardens to provide rehabilitation for individuals with a primary diagnosis of psychosis. Supporting with individual programmes for activities both on the unit and in the community. Some jobs may include: Supporting service users with ADL's, mealtimes, appointments, budgeting.
