A fantastic opportunity has arisen for someone who is looking for a challenging and rewarding role to shape, lead and coordinate an emerging programme centred around Quality of Care for NHS Tayside.
This role will be crucial in delivering on NHS Tayside’s commitment to delivering high quality healthcare. The Programme will require the individual to lead the coordination, design and delivery of an implementation plan which embeds a vibrant, supportive and impactful Quality Management System into our system of care.
The post holder will be an individual who is used to working autonomously, is comfortable with ambiguity and complexity, and is able to work to tight deadlines. The post holder will have excellent organisational and programme management skills, established improvement skills and strong interpersonal skills to coordinate the work of the many individuals and teams involved in designing, testing and embedding a Quality Management System. The post holder will be comfortable collecting and analysing data with minimal supervision, and will be able to produce clear high quality written reports. The post holder will provide management for a number of individuals working within the programme.
The role is positioned within the Improvement Team, managed by the Associate Director Improvement, and is accountable to Executive Medical and Nurse Directors.
Candidates will be considered who hold a first degree in a relevant discipline and either a formal qualification or equivalent experience in the field of Quality Improvement or Programme Management. Ideally you will have experience of leading change programmes within a healthcare setting.
Your performance must comply with the national “Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers 2009” and with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.
