This role is vital in ensuring the quality and functionality of electronic components and systems. There is potential for permanent employment following a successful 12-week qualifying period. Skills Required - Fault Finding: Use advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and repair electronic components at the component level. - Testing and Measurement: Conduct detailed testing and measurement of equipment to verify performance specifications. Analyse test data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. - Technical Understanding: Demonstrate a strong understanding of electronic components, circuitry, and systems. Read and interpret schematic drawings accurately to facilitate effective troubleshooting. - Customer Communication: You will need to quote and communicate directly with customers, so good written and spoken English skills are essential to ensure clear, professional communication. - Problem-Solving: Apply strong analytical skills to efficiently resolve technical issues and identify areas for improvement.
