Contract – Permanent Full Time
Hours – 37hrs hours per week – 08:30-16:30 (Term Time Only, plus 10 days)
Salary – £43,399 per annum

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking someone who is passionate about helping young people to learn and achieve, and who can help them be ready to take their next steps.
We need someone who is compassionate in their approach, and who can work with young people who may have had multiple barriers to education in the past. We want someone who is flexible and can lead a team and come together in all circumstances to put our students first.
This role will cover the following curriculum areas: Art and Design, Hospitality and Construction and whilst experience in delivering these areas are not essential, we are especially interested in candidates with experience in hospitality or construction.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
· Lead and manage Curriculum Area to achieve outstanding education outcomes for young people and adults.
· Lead and performance manage a professional team of staff to deliver the aims of the Nacro Education, Key Performance Indicators, and to ensure educational outcomes and progression of all students is at the centre of delivery.
· Develop and provide an exceptional student experience and empower and motivate students to Identify and achieve desired outcomes.
· Work collaboratively with schools, employers, partners and any other stakeholder as required to secure recruitment of students. This includes maintaining professional relationships and appropriate confidentiality of information.
· Manage and lead inputting of data in line with Nacro guidance and lead the use and analysis of data to inform and guide interventions and address areas of improvement.
· Provide development and support to your direct reports to ensure their effectiveness and wellbeing.
· Take responsibility for all aspects of people management including managing the recruitment, attendance, conduct and performance of direct reports using the appropriate policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements
· Must have some managerial experience - deputy / course / curriculum level.
· Must have been a teacher.
· Ideally want Construction or Hospitality experience
Qualifications
· English & Maths GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent
· Level 5 DIT or equivalent / higher
· Must follow internal development programme for managers through to Level 3 Coaching and mentoring
