Our client has a great opportunity for somebody with good Excel skills and great attention to detail to be be trained as a Purchasing Co-ordinator. You will assist in the continued development and success of the buying and data management of over 140 brands/ 4500 products.
This is a key role in coordinating the administration for the fast-paced purchasing dept, and is paramount in providing visibility of stocks and availability to their customers.
This role would suit either an administrator with knowledge of Pivot tables and V Look ups or a business type graduate with excellent Excel skills seeking a entry role with a rapidly growing company.
Key duties include:
1. Respond to internal requests for product outsourcing and prepare and issue purchase orders according to company purchasing policies and procedures.
2. Confirm purchase orders with suppliers including price, delivery date, quantity, unit of measure etc.
3. Track and expedite purchase orders by working with suppliers, carriers, the internal Goods Inwards team, and other departments as required.
