Due to ongoing growth, they are now looking for an experienced Property Manager to join their team.
Role Overview:
As a Property Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the property management department. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties, ensuring the smooth operation of lettings, and providing exceptional service to both tenants and landlords. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment, your strong communication skills, and your property management experience will be integral to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of residential property management, including rent collection, maintenance coordination, and tenant communication.
* Oversee the administration of the letting process, from tenant communications to tenancy renewals.
* Send out and manage Section Notices, ensuring compliance with legislation.
* Negotiate deposit refunds and liaise with tenants, landlords, and contractors to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
* Conduct property inspections, reporting on condition and recommending necessary actions to landlords.
* Manage the smooth running of tenancies, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain accurate records using property management software.
* Provide excellent customer service, ensuring tenant and landlord satisfaction at all stages of the tenancy.
* Work closely with the team to ensure all operational tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
* Maintain effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, landlords, and contractors.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in lettings or property management.
* Experience using property management software is essential.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* ARLA qualification is desirable but not essential.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills, with a confident and professional manner when dealing with tenants, landlords, and contractors.
* Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage challenging situations effectively.
* A working knowledge of residential property management and lettings processes.
* A full, clean driving license and access to your own vehicle (fuel costs reimbursed).
