Site Manager - Rail Location - Drumclog, covering Scotland. Salary - £50,000 to £65,000 plus package (DOE) Full-time, permanent position Up Front Recruitment is looking to speak with Site Agents / Site Manager with experience in Civils and / or Rail. The position will cover Scotland working on the contractors major rail infrastructure. Roles and Responsibilities: Oversee operations on a day-to-day basis and ensure that work is delivered in accordance with contract specification and HSQE requirements. Monitor and record all site personnel (including visitors) completion of safety documentation briefings prior to commencing works including Site Inductions, Task Briefings, COSHH, Risk Assessments, ALO Plans and toolbox talks. Ensure all operatives are trained and competent to carry out the tasks they are undertaking and are compliant with the site rules / agreed works procedures. Dissemination of information and ensuring client/contract requirements are met in full. Liaising with the sub-contractors with regard to programme, progress, quality and health & safety. Perform, encourage and promote Close Call reporting and any other safety initiatives. Ensure all relevant pre-start checks are carried out on plant and equipment. Maintain and submit accurate site records, site safety inspections and daily site reports including personnel working hours. Monitor labour, plant and material usage and report any issues. On-site reporting of accidents and initiating response to any emergency. Liaison with Clients representatives and stakeholders (including statutory bodies and third parties). Monitoring work progress and compliance to specifications and standards and collate documentation and records. Carry out Site Inspections Review programme and project progress with Site Agent. Knowledge and understanding of collaborative working. Implementation of collaborative projects. Assist Management and any other aspect of the Company where required. Preferred Qualifications: For the role of Site Manager, you should have: SMSTS PTS Minimum of 5 years relevant experience Experience of working in a collaborative environment Scale and territory indicators: You will be involved in projects which can be considered as major and could be within the rail transport infrastructure.
