We are looking for a Construction Manager to join our Infrastructure team on the A47 – Thickthorn Junction Project in Norwich.
You'll:
1. Guide a team of engineers, supervisors, and supply chain collaborators towards the successful and secure completion of assigned work sections, ensuring adherence to strict timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
2. Respond to any design queries and changes within the section of works.
3. Collaborate effectively with other members of the delivery team and enabling functions to guarantee that work planning takes into account the project's limitations and needs.
4. Oversee the planning, design, and construction of the highways project; managing project budgets and schedules.
5. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure a smooth execution of the project.
6. Ensure compliance at all times with safety regulations by implementing appropriate safety procedures.
7. Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure work is being done according to standards.
You'll have:
1. Previous experience as a Senior Agent or Construction Manager on Highways projects.
2. Demonstrate a proven track record of successful management that embraces inclusivity.
3. Demonstrable experience of successful delivery of previous projects against budget and targets.
4. A CSCS card / SMSTS.
5. Knowledge and understanding of construction contracts (through experience and formal training). Ideally ECC NEC4.
