Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operatives

Location: MOD Weeton Barracks Salary/ Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour Contract type: FTCstarting mid-March 2025 Working hours: Mon-Fri 07:00-16:00
About the role You will be responsible for a range of activities from grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning and flower bed maintenance for clients across the region. Responsibilities & Requirements Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Grass Cutting: Regularly cut grass areas to maintain an even height and healthy appearance.
Weed Control: Identify and eliminate weeds using appropriate methods and tools to promote healthy plant growth.
General Landscape Maintenance: Assist with the care and maintenance of gardens, flower beds, and other landscaped areas.
Litter and Debris Removal: Keep outdoor areas free from litter and debris to ensure a clean environment.
Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and care for tools and equipment used in grounds maintenance tasks.
Willingness to learn and work well in a team
PA1 and PA6 licences are an advantage but not essential
A full valid UK driving licence
Prior experience in Grounds Maintenance, using hand & mechanical tools, with a can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset
Undertake a Basic DBS Check
