Wines and Spirits Private Client Manager We are recruiting for a Wine and Spirits Private Client Manager to join our passionate and dynamic Wines and Spirits operation in Harrods’ iconic Knightsbridge store. This role is a fantastic opportunity, offering some of the best and most exclusive wine and spirit products in the world to a remarkable group of retail and private clients. About the Role The Private Client Manager for Wines and Spirits is accountable for the delivery of business performance from a sales perspective. This includes appropriately helping to obtain and sell the most exclusive products available, building and developing brand relationships, and delivering and championing highest levels of service throughout the client journey through professionalised clientelling and product allocation. Our Wines and Spirits Private Client Manager will set an exceptional business strategy with clear sales and service vision for the sales team. The Business Manager is the expert co-ordinator between customer interactions and the commercial team, allowing seamless commercial direction and team leadership. About You You will have expert knowledge across Wines and Spirits and a focus on delivering world leading customer service. With a passion for commercial success and problem-solving, you have the ability to handle ambiguity and operate in a fluid and fast paced environment. You’ll also have – A background in Wines and Spirits and relevant accreditations to validate this (i.e. WSET diploma, or equivalent experience in the industry). Proven business acumen to ensure sound decision making. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and in close collaboration with other stakeholders. A focus on problem solving and making process and operating improvements. The ability to manage competing priorities to ensure delivery. Unwavering focus on exceptional customer experience with a strong understanding of high-end clientelling. Courage to face into difficult situations in a respectful and professional way. A driven, self-motivated and results-focussed attitude.
