Part - Time Governance Assistant (Maternity Cover - 12 Months, 3 days per week)
Salary: Up to £19,200 pro-rata (£32,000 FTE) dependent upon experience.

About you
1. A desire to help British Cycling become even more successful: supporting and improving the leadership and management of Governance issues.
2. Prior experience of Governance/EA work and be comfortable organising meetings and taking minutes.
3. Ability to evidence a track record of building trust and strong relationships across a range of stakeholders.
4. An eye for detail and a desire to deliver high quality work.
5. IT literate (predominantly Microsoft).
6. A willingness to challenge the status quo and propose new ideas and thoughts.
What will you be doing?
1. A great opportunity to experience and shape how British Cycling manages its Governance responsibilities.
2. Providing proactive and direct support to the Company Secretary (line manager) and the Board of Directors.
3. Facilitation of good governance in line with the Companies Act and the Code for Sports Governance, including providing your own ideas and suggestions.
4. Providing administration support for Board Meetings, Sub-Committees and National Council.
5. Subject Matter Expert and point of contact for the Board, Executive Leadership Team, and the Regional Boards.
6. Organising the induction of new Board Members.
