We are looking to recruit a B5 Dialysis Nurse who takes patient centred care to the heart of their role. If you are experienced, dedicated and proactive you will enjoy the post at our Aintree Satellite Dialysis Unit, based at Aintree Hospital. We are a LUFT dialysis centre and have 9 units across Merseyside and strive to provide excellent care and standards to our dialysis population. The unit currently has 12 stations with 3 shifts of patients per day .The unit is open Mon - Sat 0700-0000hrs with shifts that include a variation of 0700-15.30/1500-0000 and 0700-18.30hrs.
It is a Nurse Led Unit with 2 Consultant Nephrologists, and a dietician as a part of our MDT. We follow the Named Nurse Concept and all Dialysis staff have a cohort of patients to monitor and provide an Holistic approach to care.
Management of patients undergoing Haemodialysis Modalities - all aspects of care pre, during and post dialysis.
Monthly patients reviews and Risk assessments
Wellbeing reviews / Psychological support
Patient education
Monitoring and audit
