DCT Recruitment ltd are looking for a field sales agent to work with out ever growing logistics company. They want to branch out into other cities and build a wider network. This role would be field based, required to work in their head office in Liverpool once a month to update progression etc.\n\nDaily tasks include \n•\tProvide comments on evert phone call for each customer with the outcome of each call.\n•\tProvide any quotes to new prospective and current customers.\n•\tFollow up on every prospect and customer quote and update with feedback received.\n•\tEnsure all feedback on quotes is relayed to the operations team.\n•\tAnswer every email and phone call as promptly as possible.\n•\tAssist the operations team where required with daily workload.\n•\tAssist the marketing team with targeted customer contact/branch attacks.\n•\tManagement of specific customer accounts as requested by your line manager.\n•\tDeal with nay new inbound inquires to maximise chances of success.
\n•\tRegular contact with client base to ensure continued spending and up-sale opportunities. \n•\tRaise client’s business concerns and needs to company management.\n•\tNegotiating and closing business contracts with existing and new clients.\n•\tDelivering sales pitch to prospective clients. \n•\tFollowing up clients to ensure they are satisfied with the company’s products or services.\nWeekly tasks\n•\tFeedback on activity in weekly meetings.
\n•\tParticipate in bi-weekly 1-1s completed by line manager. \n•\tConduct customer and prospect meetings where required for upsell of business or to gain potential new business.\n•\tEnsure any customer or prospect meetings are noted and uploaded to the relevant account on Courier Portal.\n•\tParticipate in Networking Events where required and provide cover for Directors and GM if they’re unavailable to attend.\nQuarterly task\n•\tMeet with key customers where required to ensure business continuity.\n6-monhtly task\n•\tComplete performance review form for review with line manager. \nSecondary duties\n•\tPartake in the Company’s on-call rota and complete on call duties.
\n•\tMake sure the office is kept clean and tidy when and where necessary. \nIn addition to your primary and secondary duties you may be required to undertake other duties and you will be required to obey all reasonable directions from time to time given by the company. The company reserves the right to vary your duties.
\n\nHours are Monday to Friday 830am-530pm\n\n3-5 Years experience within logistic sales essential.\nB2B sales experience required.\nCommission is 10% GP after £12K uncapped
