Key Responsibilities and Tasks Central to the role is compliance with responsibilities as defined in processes and procedures in the GEODynamics integrated management system (IMS), and any relevant law which will include but is not limited to the following: Implementing and ensuring compliance to the safety processes and procedures in the IMS, regularly participating in safety meetings, seeking improvements to safety wherever possible, operating an open-door policy to safety concerns and promoting a safe working culture always. Complying with all environmental policies and procedures and considering all actions and omissions to reduce environmental impact. Carrying out daily tasks in a safe and effective manner. Ensuring correct tooling is used in the execution of tasks. Following work instructions and asking for clarification if in doubt. Ensuring appropriate PPE is used for the task in hand. Checking MWP rating of all equipment prior to commencing pressure testing. Coaching and training subordinates on workshop tasks. Performing all explosive operations to API RP67 Oilfield Explosives Safety Ensuring compliance information is collected and documented as required. Ensuring all lifting equipment being used is within certification. Forklift activities as required. Troubleshooting and problem solving as required. Good housekeeping practices in workshops & yard. Ensuring inventory management is always accurate. Adherence to company health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
