The school is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic ASD Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team and make a lasting difference.
Requirements
The Role:
* Supporting students with Autism across various year groups.
* Working 1:1 and in small groups to help children access the curriculum.
* Promoting communication, independence, and emotional regulation.
* Assisting with sensory needs and behaviour strategies.
* Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and SENCOs to deliver personalised support.
What We’re Looking For:
> Experience working with children or young people with Autism
> A patient, empathetic, and adaptable nature
> A good understanding of SEN and strategies to support ASD
> Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
> A valid Enhanced DBS Adult and Child (or willingness to obtain one)
