Job Description:
The role of a Key Account Manager – Large Scale involves selling the SMA portfolio to EPCs, direct customers, and indirect companies for large photovoltaic projects. The manager will handle key customer accounts and expand existing business relationships with international customers or specific regions/countries.
Key responsibilities:
1. Manage Key Accounts and foster long-lasting relationships.
2. Sell the entire SMA product range, from Tender stage to project completion, focusing on inverters for grid-connected solar and storage systems.
3. Coordinate worldwide activities for strategic customers, considering various business models, in collaboration with SMA departments.
4. Develop and implement sales strategies.
5. Collaborate with other departments to respond to customer queries and tenders, forming bid teams as needed.
6. Develop and execute customer business plans.
7. Implement measures to increase sales.
8. Create account-specific communication strategies.
9. Attend trade shows, conferences, and conduct customer meetings.
10. Organize sales campaigns, training seminars, and technical workshops.
11. Analyze sales and market trends, visit new customers to generate revenue.
12. Support tender development and analyze sales results for tender participation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with strong commercial skills; a Business degree is advantageous.
2. Experience in Key or Global Account Management with high-value customers.
3. Strong sales personality with customer focus and negotiation skills.
4. Independent, results-oriented, motivated, flexible, with excellent communication skills.
5. Proficient in English.
6. Willing to travel over 50%.
7. Industry and product knowledge.
8. Utility sector experience.
9. Knowledge of strategic selling principles and tenders.
