We have partnered with a fantastic Specialist School that is passionate about providing equal opportunities to all of its students. Develop your skills within this role as this school is keen to provide you with the tools and support you need to thrive.
This school has a number of students who have high complex needs and are looking for classroom support. Many of these students have physical and social-emotional mental health (SEMH) needs and will need your support in the classroom to achieve their goals.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll be working with a specialist team at the school to ensure these students' needs are met so they can flourish academically and have a positive school experience.
Throughout this role, you’ll have support from the school to aid you in gaining the best experience which will help you become a successful teacher in the future.
What We Are Looking For:
1. Hold a completed bachelor's degree (minimum 2:2)
2. Eager to learn new things and help others
3. Comfortable with providing support to a range of individuals
4. Able to build positive relationships with people from a range of backgrounds
5. An empathetic individual with a ‘can do’ mindset
6. Have a good knowledge or experience in working with children who have SEND/SEMH needs (preferred but not essential)
