Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Project Accountant located in Kendal / Blackburn, UK. The Senior Project Accountant will work closely with Operations, Project Managers, and the Cost Accountant to ensure effective financial control across the Anord Mardix projects, focusing on revenue, cash flow, profitability, reporting, and analysis.
What a typical day looks like:
1. The calculation and analysis of project revenue, maintaining data integrity supporting the accounts, and keeping full audit trails for internal and external audits.
2. Producing monthly reports on overall project financial performance and gross margin for management reviews.
3. Managing the project team, including accounts receivable and credit control, ensuring customer invoices are raised timely and accurately per contract terms and management info requirements.
4. Collaborating with the Senior Finance team on forecasting.
5. Supporting future system developments with cross-functional collaboration, focusing on robust reporting systems for financial performance and contract compliance.
6. Building financial awareness among non-finance staff across the business.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience and training.
* Typically requires 2 years of related experience.
* Preferred professional certifications include CPA, CMA, CWA, CA, CGA, CFP, or APICS.
