My client, a leading company in the electronics manufacturing sector, has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to support New Product Introduction in the business and to promote LEAN processes. In addition, you will receive great training, with opportunities to develop and grow your skillset.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that any engineering changes are managed and coordinate the engineering aspects of NPI's.
2. Manage and track engineering changes across the teams effectively.
3. Take the engineering lead on projects for customers.
4. Take the technical lead at the front end of the process, ensuring all necessary requirements are captured and detailed well in advance of any customer NPI/build.
5. Promote opportunities for LEAN processes and commercial interaction to drive higher margins by identifying risks and capturing detailed costs for the bid team (i.e., NRE & tooling).
6. Report on progress and escalations within Engineering and the wider cross-functional team as required.
7. Work with the wider team to verify the product after manufacturing has been completed.
8. Quote overhead and expenses in document format.
9. Liaise with the Bids team on cost submissions and collation of detail.
10. Complete Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
1. Qualified in a relevant field; Experience will be greatly considered.
2. Demonstrable experience of managing change and LEAN processes.
