We are looking for a fully qualified Clinical Photographer, with a minimum of two years on-the-job experience within a hospital environment, to join us here at Manchester Foundation Trust Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support, contribute and undertake to provide Clinical Photography & Medical Illustration Services to clinical, nursing, managerial staff and clients/customers within the Trust, other Trusts and outside organizations/academic partners.
You will be helping us to provide a gold standard level of service to our patients and users on the wards, theatres, clinics, and studio.
We also pride ourselves on the high level of PR and environmental photography which we offer to our users.

Person specification
Qualifications
* Holds a degree in Clinical Photography (BA) or Media/Photography (BA)
* Holds Post Graduate or Diploma in Clinical Photography from Staffordshire University.
Experience
* Technical knowledge of photographic equipment, digital SLR and techniques
* Over two years’ experience of working in a Healthcare Environment
* Experience of camera operation and lighting techniques
* Experience of working with standardized procedures.
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of postproduction/editing software, such as Adobe Creative, Photoshop Elements
* Evidence of photography experience.
Skills
* Good team member
* Flexibility
Knowledge
* Good knowledge of photographic equipment such as digital camera technology, advancements and techniques.
* Knowledge of copyright laws, governance and confidentiality laws and other appropriate legislation.
* Excellent understanding of editorial styles and publishing processes in a digital environment.
* Evidence of continuing professional development, professional registration and regulation practice.
* Fully registered Clinical Photographer
