We have a vacancy for a Trainee Technical Support Assistant to join our busy and well-respected Wills, Trust and Probate Team. The position will be based in our Colchester office but will be eligible for some home working, if required, in line with the Firm’s home working guidelines.
The role will include supporting the team with a varied caseload and bridging the gap between fee earning, secretarial and administration duties. Previous experience is desirable but not essential. The main duties will include:
1. Carrying out legal research;
2. Assisting in taking calls;
3. Assisting in the production and sending out documents;
4. Liaising with third parties e.g. probate registry, estate agents etc.;
5. Liaising with clients and arranging Wills signings and dealing with the execution of Wills;
6. Assisting with the administrative tasks and drafting of documents in Probate, Office of Public Guardian and Trust matters.
