Are you ready to step into an exciting leadership role where you can make a significant impact? We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Commercial Director (Pitch Profitability Director) to join our team in Hemel Hempstead. This is a unique opportunity to not only shape the long-term strategy for Haven’s Caravan Sales and Owner businesses but also play a hands-on role in driving profitability and making key decisions.
In this role, you will have the chance to lead a team responsible for critical business decisions, from pricing strategies to optimising pitch profitability. You will be directly involved in balancing performance across various business areas, and you’ll work closely with senior leadership to ensure long-term growth. This is a key hire with a clear succession plan in place for progression to the role of Chief Commercial Officer.
Here’s what you will be responsible for:
- Strategic Analysis : You will analyse caravan sales trading performance and key drivers, using this insight to inform our trading strategy and adjust in-year actions to ensure we meet our targets.
- Pricing Decisions : You will lead the decision-making process on how we set pricing across our key products and determine how to respond to the trading environment with pricing and promotional strategies.
- Budget Ownership : You will set Caravan Sales and Site Fee budget targets, monitor performance, and review pricing to ensure long-term value for the business.
- Pitch Strategy Leadership : You will take ownership of the Pitch Strategy process, using our Commercial and Pitch Profitability Operating Models to guide all decisions related to pitch optimisation and the balance between Fleet and Owner.
- Operational Collaboration : You will work closely with the Operations team to ensure the efficient conversion of appointments to sign-ups and maximise revenue opportunities.

- Proven Pricing Experience : You have a strong background in pricing strategy, with a track record of driving profitability through effective pricing decisions.
- P&L Expertise : You possess a deep understanding of P&L structures and the drivers of profitability, with the ability to manage financial performance effectively.
- Stakeholder Management : You are skilled at influencing key stakeholders and managing relationships across various business functions to ensure alignment and drive action.
- Strategic Mindset : You are a long-term thinker, able to balance immediate business needs with multi-year opportunities to ensure sustainable growth.
- Analytical Strengths : You have a strong analytical mindset, with experience using data to inform strategic decisions, ideally developed in a management consultancy environment.
