Work in partnership with ICS and university colleagues to deliver the strategy for practice learning, meeting the requirements of the professional bodies. Chair the Bexley Learners Working Group, including managing the Bexley concerns log, ensuring effective follow-up and resolution of issues raised during meetings. Collaborate closely with the Bexley Quality Lead to ensure Multi-Professional Education Faculties operate in alignment with the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established by South East London Workforce Development Hub (SELWDH), advocating for inclusive multi-professional representation. Work alongside Multi-Professional Education Faculty Groups to support in their development and embedding into Primary Care. Attend Multi-Professional Faculty Group meetings as required, contributing to and guiding discussions. Work in partnership with clinical and university colleagues to support the development of high quality practice learning environments. Lead on learner feedback within Bexley, collecting and sharing themes at practice/PCN level. Act as a resource of information, evidence and advice on practice learning and mentoring for clinical and University staff. Work with assessors and supervisors, managers and university staff regarding placement issues and fitness to practice. Contribute to the development of a team approach in meeting the challenges of the practice experience. Collate confidential and sensitive information relating to the quality of clinical placements from a variety of sources, conveying necessary information to appropriate managers and processes in a timely manner. To be involved in the identification of potential practice placements, maximise the number of students who can be supported within clinical practice areas aligned with organisational processes and responsive to local priorities, with knowledge of supporting short, medium and long term workforce and practice learning capacity. To monitor and maintain the assessor/supervisor database and lead on actions arising from the data information. Contribute to the process of placement evaluation and feedback and when necessary follow established procedures for reporting and addressing concerns regarding practice, in collaboration with service representatives, relevant placement staff and relevant HEI staff. Develop and support assessors/ supervisors in decisions relating to the student experience including the achievement of learning outcomes, competence and fitness for practice and support the in-point assessment process. Support the completion of practice placement risk assessments, and PCN education audits, developing and monitoring action plans to enable a high quality student experience. Other duties & responsibilities The post holder will be expected to participate in performance review and developmental activities. Ensure continued development of personal knowledge and skills to ensure that teaching reflects current best practice.
