Job Title: Social Worker – Learning Disabilities Team
Location: Tameside
Rate: £35 per hour
An exciting job role has recently become available in Tameside. They are looking for a new member for their Learning Disabilities Team.
What will your responsibilities be?
An exciting opportunity to join a newly established Learning Disability, Autism, and Transitions team. These posts will support ensuring that the Learning Disability and Autism Team is Care Act compliant and operates effectively in line with TMBC’s policies and procedures. You will provide Care Act assessment, support planning, review, safeguarding, mental capacity, and best interest work, participating in the duty function and improving the outcomes for individuals with a learning disability and/or autism, including young people who are in transition from Children’s services.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
