Job Description:
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting individuals in their day-to-day lives, enabling them to live safely and independently in their own homes.
Our work is often carried out in collaboration with social workers and in line with court orders to ensure compliance with legal requirements and to provide the best possible care for our clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administering medication in line with care plans
- Booking in and out medication to ensure accurate records and safe handling
- Working closely with social workers to meet the needs of individuals and comply with relevant court orders
- Providing emotional and practical support to individuals with varying needs
- Assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and domestic tasks as required
- Supporting individuals to engage in social activities and access the community
- Following individual care plans and working closely with healthcare professionals
- Performing paid **sleep-in shifts** as part of your working hours
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for caring and resilient individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a support or care role (preferable, but not essential as full training is provided)
- A flexible approach to work, with the ability to work paid sleep-in shifts
- The ability to handle medication administration confidently and accurately
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
- A compassionate and understanding approach to supporting people with learning difficulties and mental health conditions
- The ability to work collaboratively with social workers and adhere to legal frameworks such as court orders
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (desirable but not essential)
