With Academic Registry, the Placements Team are responsible for delivering a wide range of accredited Work Placement modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. These modules are designed to enable students to develop their employability skills, to enhance professional practice as well as to build an understanding of the workplace and gain practical experience within it.
We are looking to recruit a student-focused and efficient Student Administration (Placement) Officer to play an integral role in the delivery of student placements for Workplace Learning and other placement modules offered across a range of courses. Candidates should be able to support students to secure and arrange their placements and throughout the process, providing tailored support to help them achieve successful outcomes. They will need to demonstrate excellent relationship management skills and be in constant communication with a variety of stakeholders, particularly students, Lecturers and placement providers, therefore needing to be able to prioritise a high volume of work with accuracy and good attention to detail.
Above all, we are seeking a real team player with experience of providing support and the ability to adapt quickly and perform well in the various aspects of the role. Candidates will need to have a range of GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade C/Grade 4 or above, or appropriate equivalent experiential learning.
