Your role
As a finance oriented business and systems analyst in a multinational research organisation, the role is to work with the experienced Financial Management Consultant to develop and enhance the financial management information reporting required for decision making.
Leveraging your IT expertise, particularly in databases, systems integration and data manipulation, you and the Financial Management Consultant in consultation with key EMBL stakeholders will work to create financial management reports for decision makers.
This will require collaboration and consensus building with various departments, analysis of data to calculate costings, identify trends, forecast performance, and drive efficient resource allocation.
You will need to be able to build strong relationships, foster collaboration and facilitating consensus-building across teams.

4. Qualified or Part Qualified accountant or other relevant financial qualification
5. Qualified by extensive experience will also be considered
6. Minimum of 5 years of developing and manipulating data sets/data bases.
7. Understanding of finance systems and their key controls that ensure data integrity.
