Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Early Years Childcare Practitioner to join our Ofsted Outstanding nursery!
This is a term-time only position to start asap.
*You will work for 39 weeks during term-time and be paid 45.6 weeks per annum, which is averaged out and paid monthly over the full year.

Applicants must have a sound knowledge of the EYFS and a full and relevant level 3 qualification in early years, plus post qualification experience.
You will need to be flexible and able to work within any of our 4 childcare rooms when required, caring for children aged between 2 and 5 years old.
Responsibilities and Duties
Duties will include:
* To work towards the agreed aims of the nursery providing high quality education and care within the EYFS framework for children aged 18 months to 5 years of age.
* To be responsible for the smooth running of the childcare room promoting the daily routines and childcare practices that meet the overall aims of MCCC.
* To plan and deliver a range of play opportunities in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS) that meets children’s developmental needs and enables children to reach their full potential.
* To establish and maintain positive working relationships with parent/carers in a way that supports children’s learning and development and values parental involvement.
* To supervise and delegate staff/students within the childcare room.
* To be responsible for the induction of staff in regard of procedures and practice within the childcare room.
* To monitor and support the performance of individual staff within the childcare room.
* To work effectively as part of a team and pass on any relevant information to the Nursery Manager, SENCO and DSL.
* To liaise with other professionals and external agencies writing reports as necessary.
* To ensure that health, safety and hygiene standards are maintained in line with policies and procedures.
* To safeguard children by ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
* To work within the policies and procedures of the nursery and promote an equal opportunity environment.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience/Qualifications
* Candidates must hold a full, relevant, minimum level 3 qualification in Early Years.
* Experience of working in a nursery setting is essential with preferably 2 years post qualification experience.
* Experience of working with children with special educational needs and disabilities is essential for this post.
* Enhanced DBS check will be required.

Pay: From £12.47 per hour
