Are you an experienced Senior Care Assistant looking for something a bit different?
We are looking for an experienced senior care assistant to cover daytime hours within care homes in the Heanor, Ilkeston and Ripley areas.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing the highest level of personal care and attention to the service users, following care plans carefully using PCS software whilst ensuring that all contact is polite, friendly, warm and supportive.
• Ensuring adherence to all aspects of Health and Safety including COSSH, Food Hygiene and Infection control.
• Administering medication to service users and recording this on Atlas eMAR.
• To liaise with other care professionals relating to the care needs of the residents.
• To respect and maintain confidentiality of resident’s personal information at all times, this includes resident’s behaviour and actions and any incidents that may occur in the course of day-to-day care.
• Ensuring the team are supported throughout the day and taking a hands-on role to ensure that all duties are completed.
• Participating in handovers to ensure that teams are fully briefed of the needs of the residents.
To be suitable for this position you must have:
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate
- NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Up to date mandatory training certificates
- Full up-to-date CV
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience working as a senior care assistant within a 20+ bed care home.
- A referenceable work history
- A bubbly and outgoing personality and a true passion to make the lives of those under your care as fulfilling as possible.
Previous experience with both Atlas eMAR and PCS is preferred but not essential.

You will working days between Monday to Sunday with typical hours being:
06:45 to 14:30
or
14:15 to 22:00
You will be paid £13.00 per hour
